The Spa Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and serene spa environment. This position is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the spa, locker rooms, vitality pool, outdoor cabanas, and fitness areas. This team member ensures all spaces are pristine and thoughtfully maintained.

This role is ideal for someone who is well organized and finds genuine satisfaction in keeping environments clean, orderly, and beautiful. Exceptional attention to detail, pride in presentation, and a natural ability to communicate with guests and team members are essential. The Spa Attendant supports the daily operations of the spa and works closely with the Spa Operations Manager to uphold the highest levels of hospitality and hygiene.

Job Duties & Functions
  1. Maintain immaculate cleanliness of the spa, relaxation areas, outdoor fitness areas, outdoor relaxation areas, vitality pool, locker rooms, gym, and outdoor cabanas throughout each shift.

  2. Restock towels, robes, and guest amenities in all designated areas promptly and efficiently with care.

  3. Monitor all spa areas for cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness; correct or report issues immediately.

  4. Interact warmly and professionally, offering assistance, guidance, or refreshments as needed.

  5. Execute daily cleaning protocols, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitization.

  6. Communicate efficiently with Spa Concierge to ensure seamless guest arrival and departure experience.

  7. Offer guest assistance throughout spa amenity areas and relaxation areas.

  8. Retrieve operational supplies upon arrival to the hotel and assist with inventory and distribution.

  9. Monitor supply levels and notify the Spa Manager of any changes.

  10. Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces and wellness equipment using approved products.

  11. Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, and maintained throughout the day, including floors and supplies.

  12. Follow daily checklist and complete special assignments as directed by the Spa Operations Manager.

  13. Assist with supply restocking, guest tours, and operational support.

  14. Prepare guest food and beverage amenities daily, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  15. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs in a timely and clear manner.

  16. Practice safe work habits and comply with all hotel and departmental health and safety standards.

  17. Use radio communication with courtesy and clarity when interacting with team members.

  18. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Attributes
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.

  2. Previous experience in hospitality, spa, or housekeeping roles is preferred.

  3. Must take personal pride and satisfaction in keeping the environment clean and orderly.

  4. Must have strong attention to details and a highly organized mindset.

  5. Friendly, respectful, and proactive guest service demeanor.

  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  7. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in fast-paced, high-guest-volume environments.

  8. Must maintain professional grooming, dress standards, and wear the proper uniform.

  9. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

  2. Attend all staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education workshops.

  3. Follow all safety, sanitation, and operating procedures and hotel regulations.

Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.

  2. Comfortable working in a spa environment exposed to ambient heat, aromas, and moisture.

  3. Regular lifting, bending, standing, walking, and repetitive motion required.

  4. Frequent contact with water, cleaning agents, and wet or slippery surfaces.

  5. Must adhere to safety, hygiene, and operational protocols at all times.
