Job Duties & FunctionsMaintain the highest standards of guest service, hospitality, spa, aesthetics, and professionalism at all times.
Timely respond to guests’ needs and promote available services and products.
Ensure all services and interactions reflect brand standards, confidentiality, and five-star standards excellence.
Perform therapeutic spa services with the utmost care and within your scope of practice.
Perform a full range of facial, body, and skincare treatments according to protocols and professional licensing standards.
Conduct thorough skincare consultations, analyze guest needs, and offer tailored at-home regimen recommendations.
Possess strong knowledge of all facial and body treatments, including protocols, contraindications, ingredients, and treatment benefits.
Demonstrate proficiency with high-performance devices and eagerness to expand skill set through ongoing education.
Attend all training courses and demonstrate a high level of product knowledge, active ingredients, and their functions.
Strictly adhere to sanitation practices: ensure esthetic tools/implements are properly disinfected, sterilized, and stored.
Ensure strict compliance with draping policies while creating a secure, relaxing guest experience.
Maintain an immaculate, well-stocked treatment room and proactively communicate supply needs to leadership.
Accurately complete client intake and treatment logs in spa software systems.
Assist with retail merchandising and contribute to spa product sales by educating guests on home care options.
Conduct tours or participate in events when needed to support the spa’s outreach and guest engagement.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized spa environment—including common spaces and product areas.
Remain current with professional trends, continuing education, and the spa’s evolving treatment menu.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED is required.
A diploma from an accredited esthetics, cosmetology, or beauty therapy qualification is essential. Examples include CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC, NVQ-SVQ3, or an equivalent diploma.
Must possess a current Esthetics or Cosmetology License in good standing.
Minimum of 4 years’ active experience as an esthetician / beauty therapist in a luxury spa, medical aesthetics clinic, hotel, resort, or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience working with high-performance skincare devices (e.g., LED therapy, microdermabrasion, cryotherapy, HydraFacial, or MediSpa equipment) is highly desirable.
Experience with organic and luxury skincare lines preferred.
Demonstrate mastery in sanitation, sterilization of implements, and general spa hygiene standards.
Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Must have flexible schedule availability to include weekends, holidays, and special events when needed.
Must have good physical stamina with the ability to perform multiple services in a row.
Professional demeanor and passion for skincare, spa, wellness, and luxury service required.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt to guest needs, and maintain a high standard of service excellence.
Strong understanding of Forbes/AAA brand standards is preferred.
Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable with multitasking in a high-touch environment.
Approachable, calm under pressure, and able to solve problems with grace and initiative.
Deep knowledge of skincare ingredients and a desire to stay at the forefront of esthetics innovations.
