How to Apply

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure full liaison with other members of the section and the kitchen team.
  • Strong communication with the chef de parties / Commis of the section
  • Key relationship with the Sous chefs, and CDP
  • Daily data collection and reporting of issues as they arise
  • Diligence in prevention of wastage
  • Clean as you go mentality.
  • Stock rotation, FIFO
  • Vegetables, dried goods and other food related items to be stored properly

Run the section with great confident and sense of urgency.

Profile required

Education
  • High school or equivalent education required. Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum of 1 years in a similar position in a high volume internationally recognized luxury hotel chain or food and beverage establishment.
