The Clayfield is a new 102-room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada, the hotel will deliver a refined, highly personalized guest experience grounded in calm luxury, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.
The Spa at The Clayfield is a thoughtfully designed, intimate space offering a refined, restorative experience that reflects the hotel’s sense of place, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury. It is not simply an amenity, but a core expression of the guest experience—where every detail, from treatment to environment, is considered and intentional.
We are seeking passionate, service-focused Aestheticians who are committed to delivering exceptional spa experiences through personalized care, technical excellence, and genuine hospitality.
Reporting to the Spa Director, this role provides luxury facial and body treatments while contributing to a welcoming, immaculate, and highly professional spa environment.
What You'll Do• Perform luxury facial, body, waxing, manicure, pedicure, and specialty spa treatments according to established protocols.
• Conduct thorough consultations and customize treatments based on guest goals.
• Educate guests on skincare and recommend appropriate retail products.
• Meet retail goals through authentic product education and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain detailed guest treatment records.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after every service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout treatment areas.
• Assist with laundry, stocking linens, replenishing supplies, and maintaining spa presentation.
• Build strong guest relationships that encourage repeat visits.
• Work closely with massage therapists, reception, spa attendants, and leadership.
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge and treatment training.
• Follow all sanitation, health, safety, and hotel standards.
• Aesthetic diploma from a recognized institution.
• Experience in luxury spa, hotel spa, medi-spa, or wellness environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of skincare and spa treatments.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Passion for skincare education and retail sales.
• Positive attitude and collaborative work ethic.
• Professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
