Compensation: Starting at $16.50 per hour
We are looking for an Food and Beverage Outlets Associate who has a passion for elevated customer service and a flexible to work in multiple areas. To be successful F&B outlets associate you would fulfill the different needs in the F&B outlets and areas. Providing service that meets the Hyatt and OTH standards and the highest satisfaction for the hotel guests. This is a perfect position for someone looking to grow their F&B career.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience, hotel restaurant experience preferred. Coffee house and/or Barista and serving experience
Desired for exceeding customer satisfaction
Strong communication skills.
POS knowledge, cash handling experience
Able to fulfill different roles and flexible schedule
Must be able to lift, push and/or pull 25lbs
Ability to adhere and implement cleanliness health codes
The F&B Outlets Attendant is responsible for fulfilling multiple roles, Barista, Food Runner, Server and Houseman. Providing customer service to the hotel guest that meets the Hyatt and OTH Standard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Barista (40%)
Greet guests timely and professionally and take guest orders completely and accurately.
Set up and break down of coffee bar, daily
Brew, sell, promote and prepare orders according to company standards.
Make menu suggestions, and/or daily special options.
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any problems that may arise.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and maintain stock levels.
Knowledgeable of menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
Accurate total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, handling money, processing credit/debit cards.
Adhere to company cash handling procedures.
Follow proper procedures for voids and reconciling register.
Ensure end of shift paperwork is balanced, neat and legible.
Requisition, stock and rotate products.
Familiar with hotel information in order to answer guest inquires.
Alert supervisor on duty of any guest issues that may arise.
Must clean and organize work area
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Banquet Housman (40%)
Set up and/or break down of event rooms or private dining spaces
Deliver necessary equipment to the meeting spaces
Read and follow the event order and or instructions on the event order
Report to Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor of any concerns about the event or set up
Assist with any deep cleaning and/or organizing of event equipment.
Deliver food and other items for event
Deep clean and organize banquet equipment and storage areas as needed
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:Food Runner (10%)
Deliver food orders to customers in rooms and/or lounge, restaurant
Check in with customer to ensure satisfactory experience
Complete opening and closing side work.
Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
Assist with tableware is properly displayed and delivered and removed
Assist dishwasher with cleaning of items and equipment when necessary
Handle various impromptu request from customers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Banquet Server (10%)
Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and put out table centerpieces.
Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
Responsibilities also include cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms.
Follow the banquet event order and follow up with manager on duty as needed.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Service guests needs, such as refills, guide guests, and serve the needs of the guests.
