Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour
We are looking for an Front Desk Supervisor who has a passion for elevated customer service and a strong desire to cultivate their hospitality career. To be successful Front Desk Supervisor you must ensure the daily operation and service meets the Hyatt and OTH standards, while working directly with Front Office Manager and other leaders to resolve customer and employee issues. You should be a team player and maintain knowledge of policies, procedures.
BASIC FUNCTION: The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the daily quality and accuracy of the work produced by the Front Office Team in conjunction with the Front Office Manager. The highest standards of operation relating to guest satisfaction are to be maintained through the Front Desk Supervisor in the overall operation of the Front Office.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent. 2-year college degree preferred
1 year hotel front office experience and/or supervisory experience in customer related industry
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate leadership skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, property management systems and inventory management systems preferred.
Demonstrate decision-making skills/manager stressful situations
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to multitask
Availability for both AM/PM shifts, including weekends and holidays
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager with coordinating staffing, onboarding and training.
Supervise the daily operation of the Front Office
Ensure that the procedures for guest check-in and check-out are maintained.
Maintain an efficient system of communication between the Front Office and other departments, with particular regard to guests’ arrivals, departures and special requests.
Work in collaboration with the Front Office Manager to ensure all Hyatt/OTH policies, procedures and service scores are met and maintained.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Serve on the Emergency Response Team.
Act as MOD as needed.
