Duties and responsibilities related to the Guest Service Attendant (Bell / Valet) role:
A true representative of the company to customers, employees, and the public
A team player with a hands-on mentality and a love for guest service
Refined verbal communication skills
Capable of standing for long periods of time
Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking and ability to lift, push, pull up to 30lbs of weight
Unafraid of engaging in conversation with guests
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including, evenings, weekends and holidays
Full G driver’s license with the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles is mandatory for this position.
Clean driver’s abstract must be provided by applicant upon selection
Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
The ability to work under pressure and possess a great attention to detail
About you
Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Guest Services team at the Toor Hotel, part of JDV by Hyatt! Not only will you be a part of an elite service team, but you will get to be part of our team from the beginning as we open this brand new hotel! Guest Service Attendants welcome and create the first impression upon guest arrival, and often are the last farewell guests have upon departure. Responsibilities include: Assisting the passengers during the loading and unloading process, safely and efficiently relocating guest automobiles to designated parking locations, escort guests, their luggage and personal items to and from guest rooms efficiently. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel guest services and knowledge of daily events. It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. You will also be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the driveway in close collaboration with your fellow Guest Service Attendants. This highly visible role gives opportunity for professional casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations.
