Main Duties:

• Conduct regular foot patrols of the entire premises as well as monitoring front entrance and cameras
• Secure all exits
• Respond to alarms and noise complaints
• Interact with guests, employees and members of the public to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.
• Document a nightly report on activities through the night

Qualifications:  

• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Valid BC Security Worker’s License with Security Guard endorsement
• Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for a majority of an 8-hour shift.
• Experience or can demonstrate to have a keen eye for watching and reporting irregularities
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Utilizing technology including writing reports, tracking patrols in a smart phone and communicating via two-way radio.
