This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who blends operational rigor with genuine hospitality; perfect for a beverage professional who wants to build a program from the ground up in a boutique, design-forward hotel.What You’ll Do • Oversee all bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, and service standards • Develop and manage beverage programs (cocktails, wine, beer) aligned with Wildbirch’s brand identity • Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls (COGS, pour cost tracking) • Ensure compliance with Alaska liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations • Train and develop bar staff on service standards, product knowledge, and JDV brand expectations • Partner with F&B leadership on events, promotions, and seasonal menu rollouts • Support forecasting and budgeting for the beverage departmentWhat You Bring • 3+ years of beverage management experience, ideally in a hotel, boutique, or high-volume bar setting • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and craft cocktail trends • Experience with inventory management and cost control systems • Current Alaska alcohol server/TAM certification (or ability to obtain) • Leadership experience — you know how to train, motivate, and hold a team accountable • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experienceAbout Wildbirch Hotel The Wildbirch Hotel is Anchorage’s newest boutique hotel, part of the Joie de Vivre by Hyatt collection, operated by a local Alaska team and Springboard Hospitality.
