The role requires handling guest inquiries, luggage service and managing check-in and check-out support in an efficient, warm, and professional manner.

• Housekeeper (Housekeeping)

  At The Wildbirch Hotel, our Housekeeping Room Attendants play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space is fresh, tidy, and inviting. The role involves meticulous attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and independently. Housekeeping Room Attendants ensure that each guest experiences a serene and well-kept environment throughout their stay in Anchorage, contributing to the overall exceptional guest experience.

• Maintenance Technician (Engineering/Maintenance)

  At The Wildbirch Hotel, our Maintenance Technician supports the entire engineering, housekeeping and operation team and is responsible for the upkeep and repair of our guest rooms, public areas, back-ofhouse areas, facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

• Room Attendant / Housekeeper (Housekeeping)

  At The Wildbirch Hotel, our ROOM ATTENDANT also known as a HOUSEKEEPER is supporting the entire housekeeping team and responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for all our hotel guests.

• Director of Finance / Senior Financial Controller (Finance/Accounting)

  At The Wildbirch Hotel, our Director of Finance/Senior Financial Controller is a high-level finance professional, part of the Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and advising on financial strategy within an organization. He/She manages the finance team, implement financial controls, and work closely with other departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Director of Food & Beverage (Food & Beverage)

  As the Food and Beverage Director, you will be in-charge of the entire food and beverage department of the hotel. You are the champion of excellent service, creating an ambiance that promotes a memorable and positive experience for all of the restaurant’s guests and food and beverage-related service

  You may have been “an octopus in your past life…” so to speak. You like to mingle with your guests, while managing your staff, tracking inventory managing cash flow, observing the placement of silverware and wine glass setting on a table, and more.

• Controller (Finance/Accounting)

  Establishes, coordinates, and administers all financial systems, internal controls, and the hotel’s capital plan. Prepares and reviews budgets, forecasts, operating results, financial reports, and tax returns in compliance with government regulations and ownership requirements. The Controller is the financial manager of the hotel. The position is responsible for short- and long-term planning and the daily operations of the Controller's department. Develops and recommends the department's budget and objectives and manages within those approved plans. Participates in total hotel management as a member of the hotel's Executive Committee and is responsible for providing the timely dissemination of reports to management to assist in achieving bottom-line results. Consults and clears with the Vice President and Corporate Controller any accounting transactions or control procedures which are not specifically addressed in The Wildbirch Hotel Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual or which require interpretation.
