About Us
We're a welcoming, guest-focused hotel looking for a dependable Night Auditor to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to accuracy and guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and requests
- Balance and reconcile the day's transactions, post charges, and run end-of-day reports
- Complete the nightly audit and roll the system over to the next business day
- Prepare daily financial summaries and deposits for the accounting team
- Monitor property security, respond to alarms or incidents, and complete regular walk-throughs
- Handle reservations, phone inquiries, and late arrivals or no-shows
- Prepare breakfast service areas and assist with light morning setup as needed
- Document shift notes and communicate any issues to the incoming morning team
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Comfort with property management systems or willingness to learn
- Clear, friendly communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited supervision
- Availability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
