About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our Leadership TEAM. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key partner to the General Manager while helping lead the hotel’s daily operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.

You will mentor and develop our ambitious TEAM, drive operational excellence, and help create a culture centered around outstanding guest service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Assistant General Manager will oversee Front Office operations while working closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure the hotel operates efficiently and delivers on its goals. You will also assume leadership responsibilities in the General Manager’s absence.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the General Manager to oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operations.

• Serve as a visible and engaged leader for both guests and TEAM members.

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Front Office TEAM.

• Support Housekeeping, Engineering, and other operating departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

• Build strong relationships with guests and respond effectively to concerns and service opportunities.

• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and consistently high service standards.

• Assist with financial performance, budgeting, labor management, and profitability initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and TEAM performance.

• Help recruit, train, recognize, and retain talented TEAM members.

• Lead by example and foster a positive, solution-focused work environment.

• Assume responsibility for hotel operations in the General Manager’s absence.

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, hotel experience, and other relevant factors.

This position is also bonus eligible.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident, people-focused hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes a solution-oriented approach to challenges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel management experience, preferably within a branded or luxury hotel environment

• Proven success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams

• 3+ years of Front Office and/or Housekeeping management experience

• Demonstrated success achieving strong guest service and satisfaction results

• Strong financial and business acumen

• Hospitality management degree is a plus

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with hotel-specific platforms such as OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, and Slack is a plus

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities across multiple departments

• Proven ability to drive results and hold yourself and others accountable

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
