The Clayfield is a new 102-room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.  Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada, The Clayfield will deliver a highly personalized, refined guest experience grounded in calm luxury, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.

The Overnight House Person plays an important role in supporting the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the hotel. Reporting to the Housekeeping Management, you will work closely with the overnight team, assisting with guest room operations, public area upkeep, laundry support, and overall housekeeping logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the property.

What You'll Do

• Support housekeeping operations by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest room attendants and operational areas
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout public spaces including lobbies, corridors, public washrooms, elevators, and guest-facing areas
• Serve as an additional overnight operational presence by conducting regular property inspections, responding to guest and operational needs, and supporting the Night Auditor in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-managed environment.
• Assist with public area cleaning and upkeep to ensure the hotel consistently reflects luxury presentation standards
• Support laundry operations including linen sorting, folding, organization, distribution, and inventory assistance
• Remove and transport soiled linen, garbage, recycling, and operational waste safely and efficiently
• Assist with room moves, setup requests, and housekeeping projects as required
• Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest service requests by working closely with Front office
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas, closets, and service corridors in an organized and clean condition
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or operational issues to leadership promptly
• Support opening, closing, and deep cleaning activities as assigned
• Follow all hotel cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality operations is an asset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support multiple operational areas
• Professional and guest-focused communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies, linen carts, and operational items up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
