About the Role
Hyatt Place Fayetteville/Springdale is looking for a dynamic Director of Sales who thrives on building business, developing strong client relationships, and driving meaningful revenue growth. This is not a role for an “order taker.” We need someone who can hunt for new business, create opportunities, and strategically position the hotel in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a proactive sales strategy for all market segments

  • Actively prospect, cold call, and build new accounts to grow the hotel’s base

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate, group, and travel industry partners

  • Conduct outside sales calls, community networking, and site tours regularly

  • Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly reports to track performance and identify opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Revenue Management to optimize rates and drive revenue

  • Represent Hyatt Place and B&T Hospitality Management with professionalism and credibility in the community


Who We’re Looking For

A strong candidate will be someone who:

  • Is driven, self-motivated, and competitive

  • Knows how to generate revenue and isn’t afraid to get out from behind the desk

  • Understands hotel sales fundamentals and market dynamics

  • Has outstanding communication and negotiation skills

  • Can manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Brings previous hotel sales experience (Hyatt experience is a plus but not required)


Qualifications

  • 1 year of hotel or sales experience preferred

  • Proven track record of growing accounts and exceeding sales targets

  • Strong knowledge of local and regional corporate/group markets beneficial

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
