Your mission at Sealeven – what you can look forward to

• Shape the Pre-Opening: You will actively plan the HR area for the new opening – from recruiting and onboarding to integrating new teams.
• Comprehensive HR Management: You will manage the entire employee lifecycle – from hiring and development to offboarding.
• Administrative Responsibility: You will prepare employment contracts, maintain personnel files, manage HR databases, and handle preliminary payroll tasks.
• Strategic Workforce Planning: Together with the General Manager, you will develop modern, employee-focused processes and take HR topics to the next level.
• Recruiting with Heart & Mind: You will find the right people – from job posting to contract signing – and actively represent our employer brand externally.
• Training & Development: You will plan learning and development initiatives and support the individual growth of our employees.
• Shaping Culture & Change: You will actively support change processes, new systems, working methods, and cultural initiatives.
• Trusted HR Partner for All: You will advise employees and managers on all HR-related matters as an equal partner, creating a strong and engaging employee experience."

What we value: your skills and personality

It’s not just your experience that counts – but the way you think and act. We are looking for people with drive, team spirit and genuine enthusiasm for what they do.

• You are a hotelier at heart.
• Several years of experience in human resources – ideally in upscale hotels or in pre-opening projects.
• A completed vocational qualification (ideally in hospitality) or a degree with a focus on HR or hospitality.
• You have an open, warm personality and strong interpersonal skills.
• Discretion, reliability, and a sense of responsibility come naturally to you.
• Sound knowledge of Croatian labour law and ideally experience in preparatory payroll accounting.
• You possess excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation.
• Your working style is structured, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Very good Croatian and good English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
• Confident use of MS Office; experience with HR tools is advantageous.
• Enjoyment of teamwork in an international environment – and the passion to help build something new.
