Maintenance Engineer / Shuttle Driver

Full-Time | 7:30am - 4pm I Evenings, Weekends & Holidays Required

Position Summary

We’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining hotel guestrooms, public spaces, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests. In addition, the position includes providing shuttle service to transport guests in a safe, timely, and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Duties (Primary)

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and special cleaning projects across the hotel.
• Maintain cleanliness in guestrooms, hallways, restrooms, lobby, and public areas.
• Support housekeeping by assisting with heavy lifting, trash removal, and linen transport.
• Inspect and maintain hotel grounds, keeping them free of debris.
• Respond promptly to guest and team member requests with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Follow all safety and security standards while carrying out maintenance tasks.

Shuttle/Guest Service Duties (Secondary)

• Safely operate the hotel shuttle, transporting guests to designated locations on schedule.
• Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep shuttle clean, fueled, and in proper working condition; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and hotel driving policies.
• Support guest services team with requests and maintain accurate daily logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance or hotel experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
