We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to lead social event sales—including weddings, mitzvahs, religious celebrations, military and first responder events. If you’re energized by connection, storytelling, and personalized service, this role is for you.

  • This position is hourly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build meaningful relationships with clients planning life’s biggest moments—couples, families, community groups, universities and organizations.
  • Drive social catering sales by prospecting, networking, and following up on leads.
  • Design customized events that reflect each client’s unique vision—working closely with culinary and banquet teams.
  • Showcase the hotel with engaging site tours that reflect Hyatt’s warm, welcoming style.
  • Represent the brand at bridal shows, mitzvah expos, and community events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of catering sales or event planning experience (hotel or venue preferred)
  • Proven success with social markets: weddings, mitzvahs, or religious/civic events
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—you're confident in front of clients
  • Savvy with social media storytelling to connect with today’s event buyers.
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for hospitality and relationship selling
  • Local market knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Hyatt systems like Envision is helpful, but not required
