Field Maintenance / Event Setup Agent

Hyatt Vacation Club®, a leader in the vacation ownership industry, is currently looking for a Field Event Setup Coordinator who will be in charge of setting up and breaking down events including but not limited to booths, tables, tents, and additional items/materials as well as providing general upkeep and maintenance throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. This will include frequent travel to different venues that we work at such as MLB games, NBA/NHL games, Concerts, Malls, Fairs, Festivals, Trade Shows, and more before and/or after the events.

The wage for this position is $22.66/hour.

-The company will be providing a van to transport items and will pay for drive time and gas to each location

-Hours are slightly flexible/may vary but can include early mornings and late nights with possible breaks in the middle of the day depending on the time requirements of each venue; therefore, open availability 7 days a week is highly preferred

  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Oversee the event development process; creating and setting up/breaking down the event, interacting with the appropriate vendors, and frequently visiting the venue as the Hyatt Vacation Club representative.
  • Follow the established contract review process to ensure that all vendors meet the risk management requirements.
  • Manage the process with The Agency for brand and legal review of owner communications and vendor contracts.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales - Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.  
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests per company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.  
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

As an Event Marketing Agent, you will offer guests financial incentives in exchange for learning about our points-based system.
