The Role:
- Ensure storage areas are secure at all times.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Receive and distribute all goods to the appropriate locations within the hotel.
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Assist with inventories and month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date package log; deliver guest packages to designated locations.
- Match invoices against delivered goods, checking for correctness, quality, quantity, and weights.
- Match packing slips with invoices and process as directed.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross-training.
- Rotate food, liquor, and related items.
