A shuttle driver safely and efficiently transports guests to the Sacramento International Airport by operating a hotel car, van, or shuttle. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel's communication base and compliance with local driving regulations. Drivers are frequently asked for general information about the hotel, give recommendations on the surrounding area, and are required to assist the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Ensuring that the vehicle is clean, and fueled and that any necessary service is communicated to the appropriate person is required. The job requires sitting for extended periods, driving using hands and feet, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
A Cook is responsible for preparing all food items based on standardized recipes for the Cafe Room Service Employee Cafeteria and Banquets while maintaining the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio. They must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision. This person should possess general troubleshooting skills to repair the kitchen, laundry, and HVAC/VTAC/T-SAT equipment. Must be able to replace light switches and outlets, familiar with working on a high voltage and power over ethernet lighting. Must know how to schedule and control space temps in all areas of the hotel through the BMS. Familiar with life safety systems, Fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and how to acknowledge and silence these alarms. This person will have some painting skills or be proficient at patching, sanding, painting, and wallpaper skills. Fundamental to good troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. As well as excellent communication skills. This individual may perform maintenance logs and reports, as well as communicate any discrepancies that relate to business operations.
